Joy Music Studio and its students were invited by Steinway to perform at the National Gallery Singapore on the red Steinway grand piano. The same model of piano was played by Chinese classical star Lang Lang at the Sing50 mega concert celebrating 50 years of Singapore music in 2015.
It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our learners. Forty of our students amazed the audience with their lovely performances on this beautiful instrument. We celebrated courage as, for many of them, it was a prestigious and nervous experience to perform for the public in a grand venue like this. What a memorable day for all of us!
